System Administrator

The system administrator works closely with the IT team and

other departments to ensure the robustness, security, and

scalability of our IT

infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain server and network infrastructure,

and implement solutions to ensure high availability, performance,

and security across all systems

Monitor and

optimize system performance, and implement upgrades

• Implement and maintain security measures

Manage backup solutions and disaster recovery

plans

Work closely with other departments to

support their technology

needs

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in computer engineering or related

field

Experience with building / managing reasonable size to

large compute clusters, whether it is HPC in academia or in

industrial settings

Knowledge of high

performance networking and data storage

Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best

practices

Effective communicator and decision

maker

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic

environment with a focus on continuous

improvement
