Overview
As a Service Technician, you will assist the Operation Manager in ensuring the smooth operational performance of machinery and equipment, which are critical to the ongoing success and efficiency of business operations.
Job Description :
1) Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment.
2) Diagnose faults and malfunctions in the systems.
3) Perform repairs and replacing defective parts.
4) Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure high reliability of systems.
5) Provide technical support and advice to the users of the equipment.
6) Document processes and maintaining service records.
7) Ensure compliance with industry safety and quality standards.
8) Inspect and assess the functionality of mechanical systems and components.
9) Understand and implement complex technical manuals and diagrams.
10) Utilize a variety of tools and equipment for repair and maintenance tasks.
11) Collaborate with other technical staff to ensure comprehensive service coverage.
12) Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
13) Providing all administrative support when required.
Requirements :
1) Diploma in mechanical, electronic, or similar fields is highly advantageous..
2) At least 3 years of experience in the Lift & Escalator industry.
3) Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
4) Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating hands-on proficiency with industry-specific systems.
5) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively convey information to customers and team members.
