This role will be located in Singapore , working on-site at our office located at Expo (DT35 / CG1) fully sheltered from the MRT.

JOB PURPOSE

The Manager, Compensation & Benefits is responsible for driving regional Total Rewards strategies with a focus on compensation frameworks and market benchmarking. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping competitive and equitable compensation programs by leveraging market data, conducting salary and benefits benchmarking, and managing total remuneration surveys across the region.

You will be instrumental in designing and enhancing compensation structures (base, variable pay, sales incentives, and MBO schemes), overseeing annual salary reviews, and maintaining alignment with market trends and business objectives. In addition, you will act as a subject matter expert to HR Business Partners and leaders, providing data-driven insights and practical guidance on reward-related decisions.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead the review, design, and implementation of compensation frameworks and reward structures to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Manage regional participation in total remuneration surveys and compensation benchmarking studies. Analyze results and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Provide compensation analysis to support decisions on job offers, promotions, pay adjustments, and retention strategies.
  • Design and manage annual compensation cycles including Annual Increment (AI) processes, incentive payments, and variable bonus structures.
  • Serve as advisor to the business and HR teams on compensation matters, providing guidance on salary structures, pay positioning, and reward policies.
  • Monitor regional compensation trends and best practices. Identify opportunities for innovation in reward programs (e.g. pay mix, incentive designs, career bands, benefits harmonization).
  • Develop frameworks and toolkits to support the consistent application of compensation guidelines across countries in the region.
  • Administer market-competitive benefits programs and ensure they remain relevant and aligned with employee needs and company objectives.
  • Maintain HRIS and payroll system accuracy for compensation and benefits data; support system upgrades and implementation projects.
  • Prepare compensation-related materials (data packs, reports, presentations) for HR, finance, and senior leadership.
  • Lead or support regional compensation-related projects and any other assignments as required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or HR related professional certifications.
  • Minimum 6 years of HR experience, with at least 4 years in a Compensation & Benefits specialist or analytical role, ideally in a regional or multi-country setting.
  • Experience working in a multinational or matrixed organization.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation frameworks, job evaluation methods, and benchmarking tools (e.g. Mercer, WTW, Radford).
  • COMPETENCIES & SKILLS

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and HR data analysis; experience interpreting survey data and building compensation models.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of numerical accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Confident in presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional maturity, discretion, and integrity in handling confidential compensation data.
