Job description

Job Responsibilities :

  • Perform general radiographic examinations and / or at least one of the areas of specialty including mammography and / or ultrasound and / or Bone Mineral Densitometry.
  • Responsible for the safety and welfare of the patient.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment; adhere to safe work practices especially in radiation safety and infection control.
  • Ensure proper usage and care for all equipment at the specific diagnostic centre.
  • Perform other administrative duties or ad-hoc quality departmental projects / activities as assigned by the reporting officer / Lead Radiographer
  • Apply the ALARA principle for all procedures.
  • Responsible for general housekeeping of the allocated diagnostic centre.
  • Render prompt and courteous service delivery to external and internal customers.
  • Ensure efficient running and operations of their area of responsibility.
  • Assist the Radiographer-In-Charge / Senior or Principal Radiographer to ensure quality control procedures are performed diligently.

    • Job Requirements :

  • Recognized degree in Diagnostic Radiography and Professional Licence.
  • Experience in Mammography, Ultrasound and Sonography / Bone Mineral Densitometry will be an advantage.
  • Strong organisational skills and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Complete all assigned tasks in an organized and timely manner.
  • Service orientated and customer focused.
  • Have a compassionate, caring, and friendly attitude.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Effective communications, written and coaching skills.
  • Good team player
