Executive Engineer (Lift / Escalator Inspection)

Aufgaben

You will be part of the technical expert team of our Lift & Escalator Inspection Services under Real Estate and Infrastructure Division in ASEAN to support TÜV SÜD ASEAN growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Assist SPEs (Lift & Escalator) to conduct inspections of lifts and escalators for annual no load & 5-yearly load testing for lifts in conformance with applicable standards and regulations by BCA and MOM

Perform site audits to ensure proper installation, operation and maintenance adhereing to safety and performance of the lifts and escalators

Conduct lift and escalator inspections based on the established process as required by the company and maintain accurate and proper records of inspections results

Qualifikationen

Registered with IES / ACES and hold LEI Accreditation

Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering discipline

Possess at least 5 years of practical experience in for lifts and escalators preferably in the following applications

testing and commissioning of new lift installation and modernization

maintenance services including repair and emergency call reactions, fault eliminations etc

construction and planning of lifts design for varied lift manufacturers

Satisfactory knowledge of risk-based assessment

Demonstrated physical and mental fitness required for high-risk lift and escalator inspections

Strong team player with independent thinking

Target oriented, systematic strong problem solver
