Salling Search is proud to partner with a leading global container liner, headquartered in Singapore, known for innovative and sustainable shipping solutions. Our client seeks a Senior HR Manager to drive their people strategy in a dynamic, international environment.

Role Overview

The Senior HR Manager (Generalist) will assist with HR initiatives for our client’s Singapore hub, focusing on talent acquisition, employee engagement, and strategic alignment with their global container shipping operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops HR strategies for talent management, succession planning, and workforce development.
  • Leads recruitment for mid to senior-level maritime and corporate roles in APAC.
  • Enhances employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion through targeted initiatives.
  • Manages performance reviews, training programs, and career development.
  • Ensures compliance with Singapore employment laws and maritime regulations.
  • Supports change management and leverages HR analytics for data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; Master’s or HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • 8+ years of HR Generalist experience, with 3+ years in a senior role, ideally in maritime or logistics.
  • Strong expertise in talent acquisition, HRIS (e.g., Workday), and Singapore labor laws.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills; fluency in English (Mandarin a plus, as the role involves communication with Chinese speaking stakeholders).
