Arup is looking for a Strategy Consultant to join its APAC Advisory team, delivering high-impact strategy projects across the built and urban environment. This role blends strategic thinking with technical insight to help cities, investors, and asset owners make confident decisions in complex contexts. You’ll work across sectors like infrastructure, energy, and urban development, shaping sustainable and innovative solutions for clients in Southeast Asia and beyond.
The Opportunity
- Contribute to the delivery of strategy projects across sectors such as infrastructure, energy, and urban development by conducting research, preparing analysis, and supporting the development of client-ready deliverables.
- Undertake qualitative and quantitative research, including policy reviews, market assessments, and stakeholder mapping. Use data analysis tools to interpret findings and support evidence-based recommendations.
- Assist in synthesizing research and technical inputs into clear, actionable strategies. Help prepare presentations, reports, and visual materials that communicate complex ideas in a compelling and accessible way.
- Work closely with internal specialists—such as engineers, economists, and planners—to integrate multidisciplinary perspectives into strategy work. Participate in team discussions and contribute to collaborative problem-solving.
- Participate in client meetings and workshops to understand their challenges and contribute to solution development. Assist in preparing proposals and pitch materials, drawing on insights from project work and market trends.

Is this role right for you?
Tertiary qualifications in public / urban policy, business, economics, or a related built environment discipline.Minimum 4 years of experience in consulting or strategic roles, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Excellent communication skills—written, visual, and verbal—with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.Proficiency in data analysis tools and AI-enabled platforms.Experience working across diverse sectors (e.g., transport, energy, water) and with stakeholder engagement is highly desirableWhat we offer you
