Job Description

Our client is a Japanese trading company specializing in the import and export of wood and building materials. They are seeking a Sales Executive to drive sales growth and support the expansion of their business presence in the market.

Responsibilities 】

  • Handle export sales and trading of wood-related products.
  • Identify and develop new markets while managing existing customer relationships.
  • Source new suppliers and maintain relationships with current ones.
  • Prepare and manage sales contracts and purchase orders.
  • Ensure compliance with legal export regulations, company policies, and standard export procedures.
  • Monitor and track export sales transactions, including order status and customer payments.
  • Analyze challenges and provide recommendations for problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Resolve customer issues related to export processes in collaboration with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth operations.
  • Execute business strategies and growth plans set by the Sales Manager.
  • Work proactively to increase sales revenue and expand market share across target segments.
  • Collaborate closely with internal sales teams to maximize opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to Sales Management as required.

Requirements & Preferences 】

Must)

  • At least 3 years of experience in wood-related commodity sales or trading operations
  • Willingness to travel overseas for business trips (1-2 times per quarter)
  • Ability to meet volume and profit targets set by management, and provide insights to the margin management team
  • In-depth sales experience, preferably with medium to large clients
  • Strong organizational, negotiation, and teamwork skills
  • Self-motivated, creative, and capable of working independently
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Incoterms
  • Advantageous)

  • Understanding international shipping processes, regulations, and logistics is an added advantage
  • English Level
