Job Overview

The upcoming Eastern General Hospital (EGH) seeks to provide excellent healthcare and promote healing centered around each person. Role Description

In this role, you will collaborate with partners to develop intelligent and autonomous systems supporting the clinical and operational needs of EGH, aligning with its mission to transform healthcare service delivery. Responsibilities include ensuring the smooth operation of the Healthcare Living Lab with the Development Secretariat, conducting integration testing, and trialing new technologies. You will also engage with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful implementation of these technologies within EGH. Additionally, you will participate in research and development for intelligent healthcare systems.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics)
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience; healthcare experience is a plus
  • Candidates with more experience may be considered for the Senior Project Engineer role
  • Knowledge in robotics / system integration / engineering, electrical / electronic / mechanical circuitry design, and PLC / programming
  • Familiarity with high power control systems (e.g., lifts, heavy machinery, robotics)
  • Proficiency with programming languages and operating systems
  • Strong planning, analytical, and communication skills; team player
  • Technical aptitude for design details
  • Ability to engage stakeholders in a dynamic, growing organization
  • Capable of working under pressure and adapting to challenging conditions
