Roles & Responsibilities
The Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) is a not-for-profit organisation established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in 2024 to harness technology and foster innovation for more efficient, resilient, and inclusive financial ecosystems through global partnerships. GFTN organises convening forums, offers advisory services on innovation ecosystems, provides access to transformative digital platforms, and invest in technology startups with the potential for growth and positive social impact through its venture fund.
Key Responsibilities :
- Successfully achieving specified personal revenue and team targets through pitching of commercial sponsorship across GFTN's suite of products
- Managing an existing selection of key global accounts.
- Building of commercial value propositions across GFTN's suite of products, including corporate programs such as Founder's Peak and Investor Hours and pitching them to senior leaders in the industry.
- Account-manage new businesses through their first GFTN cycle to ensure a positive experience and provide resolution advice where necessary, working with other business functions (e.g. Marketing, Operations)
- Maintain the sales pipeline process and data quality through the use of Hubspot (CRM system)
- Effectively and professionally manage outgoing calls and meetings, both by phone and face-to-face, that uncover customer needs.
- Collaborate and work closely with the GFTN Global content and strategy team in order to build strong product propositions.
- Collaborate and work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns which could drive commercial opportunities.
- Keep up to date with the industry through attending industry events, research and industry conversations.
- Be an active member of Team GFTN by sharing customer learnings.
- Develop internal relationships to exceed customer expectations and provide support to the team.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, business, or related fieldMinimum 6 years’ experience working in Sales, Business Development or Commercial roles.Is a self-starter, forward-thinking, and resourcefulGreat attention to detail, able to connect the commercial propositions of a business in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentExperience in CRM systems such as Hubspot would be an advantageGood command of written and spoken English in a business context.Experience in FinTech, interest in financial sector regulations and sectoral innovations would be an advantageDirect public or private sector experience in both startup ecosystem and venture capital environments is preferredTell employers what skills you have
