Responsibilities
- Serving drinks, pouring drinks for the customer at the bar counter
- Need to know the menu items available in the bar such as the liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks
- Need to know every wine by the glass and major wines on the wine menu, the designated glassware and garnishes for drinks
- Need to know how to prepare, method / time, ingredients, sauces, portion sizes, garnishes, presentation and prices
- Need to know company service procedures, department policies, SOP
- Assist other service crew / colleagues whenever possible.
- Assist other service crew and serve food and drinks to customers
- Ensure good housekeeping and cleanliness and working conditions of restaurant equipment and supplies.
- Able to do dishwashing and cleaning of areas.
- Prepare counter and pantries equipment are ready for service, ensuring compliance to standards and in accordance to company standards
- Participate and contribute in all designated meetings and training sessions.
- Check and clean work areas every day and ensure compliance with standards of cleanliness and order.
- Good customer service, friendly interaction with customers and communicate with supervisor and other service crew to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Report any problems to Supervisor
- Any other ad-hoc duties as required
