Key Responsibilities :
- Install, configure, maintain, and support Windows and Linux server infrastructure (physical and virtual)
- Manage and monitor virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Implement and maintain enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and authentication services
- Patch management, OS upgrades, and regular system audits
- Monitor system health and performance using tools like Nagios, SolarWinds, or similar
- Handle incidents, service requests, and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues
- Automate routine tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
- Work closely with network, security, and application teams to support business operations
- Prepare technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and change records
- Participate in infrastructure design, upgrade planning, and capacity management

Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible)Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Exposure to Microsoft 365, Exchange, and hybrid environmentsITSM tools like ServiceNow or RemedyRequirements :
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field10+ years of experience in system administration or engineering rolesDeep expertise in Windows Server, VMware / Hyper-V, and enterprise IT operationsHands-on experience with storage (SAN / NAS), backups, and monitoring toolsStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skillsFamiliar with ITIL processes and change managementAbility to lead infrastructure projects and work independentlyWilling to work in 24x7 on-call rotation , if neededPreferred Certifications :
Microsoft Certified : Windows Server or Azure Administrator AssociateVMware Certified Professional (VCP)Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Linux+ITIL Foundation Certification
