Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for ensuring that statutory and MAS regulatory reports are submitted in an accurate and timely manner and in compliance with corporate accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Support in delivering accurate, timely and compliant financial control processes and outputs
- Assist with month end closing tasks such as transfer pricing, accruals and prepayments.
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliation schedules and responsible for investigation and resolution of any gaps
- Assist in preparation of corporate income tax computation as well as providing required information to our Tax agent timely and accurately
- Support the VCC finance operations and collaborate with Fund Administrator as well as internal stakeholders on the fee calculation and reconciliation
- Responsible for efficient and controlled payment and claim process
- Responsible for preparation of daily regulatory liquidity reporting and support Treasury in various regulatory limits monitoring
- Involve in system testing and verification on new product implementation or changes in system processing and accounting of transactions
- Assist in annual statutory audit, income tax and GST filing matters
- Complies with relevant Group policies, considers and escalates the adequacy and effectiveness of the business’s controls on a regular basis
- Establishes and follows operating procedures which include relevant controls to meet Group and local policy requirements
- Work effectively with the business and other internal stakeholders including Middle office, Risk, Treasury and compliance etc.
Job Requirements
Minimum 3 years of relevant banking, audit or financial industry experienceKnowledge of MAS regulatory reporting as well as IFRS reporting standards and accounting principlesQualified CPA / ACCA / CA or finance degree equivalentGood communication and ability to work collaboratively across different stakeholders and deliver timely results in a dynamic working environmentHas a positive attitude, meticulous and a fast learnerTell employers what skills you have
