Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Market Research and Analysis : Conduct in-depth research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and potential business opportunities in the fire-rated door market within Singapore.
  • Client Acquisition and Relationship Management : Identify and engage with potential clients, including architects, contractors, developers, and building owners. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term business partnerships.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution : Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and market share targets. Prepare and present compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage the sales process from initial contact to project completion.
  • Product Knowledge : Gain a deep understanding of the company's fire-rated metal door products, their features, benefits, and compliance with relevant fire safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaboration and Communication : Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, operations, and marketing, to ensure smooth project execution and effective communication of product information.
  • Reporting and Analysis : Track sales activities, monitor project performance, and provide regular reports to management on key performance indicators, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Industry Engagement : Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the company's fire-rated door solutions and build brand awareness.
  • Compliance and Standards : Ensure all business development activities align with relevant fire safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or related field, preferably within the construction, building materials, or fire safety industry in Singapore.
  • Strong understanding of the fire-rated door market, including product knowledge, market trends, and competitor landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with fire safety standards and regulations in Singapore.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
