Dr Gregory Jedd Group : Postdoctoral Position

Two Postdoctoral positions are available in our group to develop non-photosynthetic diatoms as oil production platforms for food and fuel applications. The work involves both fundamental and applied aspects. The position is funded through a grant from the National Research Foundation (NRF) of Singapore and is available for up to 4-years. Requirements :

• PhD degree in biology or bioengineering-related disciplines
• First-author publication(s) in reputable journal(s)
• Significant experience with multidisciplinary approaches in model biological systems, fermentation process engineering, systems biology, bioengineering / synthetic biology
• A strong commitment to understanding complex systems and translating discoveries into applications
