Job Summary
The Project Engineer will oversee the end-to-end development and management of specialized ISO tank projects, with a focus on aseptic technology and liquid product production. This role involves designing, fabricating, implementing, and testing ISO tanks while ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in aseptic industry standards and liquid product factory engineering, coupled with strong project management skills to drive innovation and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Development : Lead the design and engineering of specialized ISO tanks, incorporating aseptic technology to meet stringent hygiene and quality requirements for liquid product transportation.
- Fabrication Oversight : Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure high-quality fabrication of ISO tanks, adhering to technical specifications and safety standards.
- Implementation and Testing : Manage the implementation of ISO tank systems, conducting rigorous testing (e.g., pressure, sterility, and performance tests) to ensure functionality and compliance with aseptic standards.
- Project Management : Plan, execute, and monitor projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, quality assurance, and clients.
- Aseptic Technology Expertise : Apply in-depth knowledge of aseptic processes to design and maintain systems that ensure contamination-free transport of liquid products (e.g., dairy, beverages, pharmaceuticals).
- Factory Engineering Integration : Work with liquid product production facilities to align ISO tank specifications with factory requirements, optimizing production and supply chain efficiency.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all designs and processes comply with international standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, HACCP) and client-specific requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and resolve engineering challenges.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities to enhance ISO tank design, streamline logistics processes, and reduce costs while maintaining quality and safety.
- Documentation and Reporting : Prepare detailed technical reports, project documentation, and presentations to communicate progress and results to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in aseptic technology or project management are a plus.Experience : Minimum 7-10 years of experience in engineering roles, preferably in ISO tank design, logistics, or liquid product production.Proven expertise in aseptic technology and liquid processing systems (e.g., dairy, food, or pharmaceutical industries).
Experience in project management, including planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for designing ISO tanks.Knowledge of aseptic processing, sterilization techniques, and liquid product handling.
Familiarity with supply chain logistics and factory engineering for liquid products.
Understanding of international standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FDA regulations).
Soft Skills : Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex engineering challenges.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with a focus on quality.
Preferred : Experience with ISO tank logistics or transportation of perishable goods.Knowledge of sustainability practices in engineering and logistics.
Fluency in multiple languages (e.g., English, Japanese) is an advantage for global operations.
Working Conditions
