Job descriptionFamiliarity with maritime operations and port procedures Strong understanding of immigration and port regulations Proficient in computer and administrative tools Able to work independently or in a team, including during non-standard hours Excellent planning, coordination, and communication abilities Proactive problem-solving mindset with a positive work attitude Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Capable of performing under pressure and managing multiple priorities effectively Fluent in written and spoken English at a business level
Responsibilities :
- Handle all port formalities, including arranging pilotage, tug services, and obtaining port clearances
- Manage immigration procedures for crew embarkation and disembarkation
- Submit timely and accurate applications for crew changes
- Arrange hotel bookings and transport logistics for crew members
- Stay updated on latest regulations from MPA, ICA, and NEA
- Coordinate effectively with vendors, including suppliers, surveyors, technicians, and repair personnel
- Communicate instructions clearly and promptly to all relevant parties
- Oversee clearance and delivery of ship spares
- Ensure timely processing and updating of documentation and operational information
- Keep shipowners informed of vessel activities and port operations
- Attend vessels on board when required
- Carry out other duties as assigned by management
