Your new role

Your new role will see you based in Hong Kong / Dubai - reporting to the Head of Corporate Banking / Head of Corporate Origination and Business Development. You will be tasked with identifying and cultivating new-to-bank relationships with large corporate clients. Leveraging existing relationships with C-suite decision-makers, you will lead origination efforts to deliver solutions across the Bank's product universe, including Lending, Payments, Trade Finance, Treasury (FX, Rates and Commodity) and DCM. You will be required to originate and build a portfolio of new clients that is aligned with the Bank’s corporate banking strategy while holding ownership of end-to-end deal execution, including delivering deal pitches, structuring, proposing and presenting credit for authority approvals, overseeing facility documentation and onboarding.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 15 years of relationship management, deal origination and / or loan syndication experience covering large MNCs or public sector entities
• Experience in a global / international bank in Singapore is preferred
• Strong market knowledge and access to clients while possessing in-depth coverage experience in high-growth sectors such as TMT and Real Estate (Logistics / Warehousing / Data Centre construction) will be greatly valued
• Comprehensive knowledge of trade finance, cash management, capital market, FX / derivatives, and corporate finance products is essential
• Strong credit assessment and presentation skills
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related disciplines. A Master’s degree or equivalent from a business school / university would be a huge plus point
• Ability to communicate fluently and concisely (written and verbal) in English
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin for dealing with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders is a strong plus
• Based in Hong Kong / Dubai, the position will necessitate extensive travel to Singapore
