Role Overview

As a Data Quality Analyst at Parameta Solutions, you will plat a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our data. You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our data validation systems, leveraging your enhanced knowledge of the markets and market data feeds. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of the Data Quality Environment within Parameta solutions, driving the company into the future.

Role Responsibilities

Endure the accuracy, integrity, timeliness of data by monitoring and maintaining data validation systems.

Liaising with broking desks and TP ICAP pricing desks to cross check / validate potentially erroneous and / or delayed data.

Liaising with TP ICAP technical teams to ensure system functionality

Maintaining a database of published data with in excess of 100,000 records

Maintaining a database of quality controls tests that drive the QA function

Data analysis / fault diagnostics

Client support where necessary

Data cleansing

Execution of DQ responsibilities within Business Process Management system. (MDXT)

Experience / Competences

Essential

Demonstrated use of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g. vLookUps, GET, MATCH formulas).

Understands ideas and has a viewpoint on the markets and economy.

Ability to collaborate with stakeholders outside of the immediate department to achieve goals.

Excellent attention to detail, highly organised with a proactive approach.

Strong analytical ability and problem solving skills.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high data quality standards.

Managing multiply stakeholders in order to achieve operational success.

Desired

Proficiency in Refinitiv and Bloomberg a plus.

Previous work in the financial markets preferred but not essential.

Adapts communication style to suit audience.

Handles situations and problems with innovation and creativity.

Projects personal credibility.

Snowflake and ThoughtSpot training.
