We are looking for an experienced Director to lead our Omni-Channel Technology department to drive customer centric innovation efforts within the customer facing applications domain, ensuring close interlock and quality business partnering efforts between IT and business as well as an enhanced degree of agility, within corporate guidelines, given budget and available resources.

What You'll Do
- You will develop strategic direction for Omni-Channel Technology, and align with target state blueprints for business, application and infrastructure.
- You will provide strategic leadership in capabilities building to ensure reduce time to market, shorter reaction time, and increase visibility and control.
- You will work closely with Chief Business Technology Officer to understand the strategic direction that the organisation is moving towards and co-define the role of Omni-Channel Technology to support and complement the business.
- You will work closely with the Section Heads to drive customer centric innovation efforts within the various channels, and ensure close interlock and quality business partnering efforts between IT and Business.
- You will work with business leaders to streamline the Omni-Channel Technology systems and integrate new application services.
- You will ensure secure delivery platform and efficient agile processes and methodologies for Omni-Channel Technology team.
- You will monitor, measure, report and review performance of Omni-Channel Technology and ensure that IT capacity meets business needs.
- You will oversee department budget and resource allocation to minimize delivery cost and maximize service delivery performance.
- You will provide leadership support in transformation initiatives and ensure seamless and agile application development / enhancement.
- You will ensure high quality and continuity of IT operations within the Omni Channel Technology department.
- You will manage a team of Section Heads across the functions of Remote / Retail Channel Applications and Customer Relationship Management.
- You will build long-term working relationships across departments / sections and promote cross team collaboration.
- You will oversee the employee management process for the team (e.g. staffing decisions, coaching, development, evaluation).
- You will manage, coach and mentor the team and support an environment in which all personnel can develop and apply their skills to meet individual and department goals.
- You will set performance targets and evaluate delivery against targets, counsel staff in career / performance development.
- You will enforce and ensure corporate and department standards, policies and guidelines within the team.
Who You Are
You have a Degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Information Science / Related IT discipline.You have 12 to 15 years of proven experience in managing a team mandated with driving customer centric technological development and enhancement.You have at least 6-8 years of experience in an enterprise of a size comparable to Singapore Pools.You make sound, logical and data-based decisions on complex issues and problems, fully considering the risks involved.You react quickly and make decisions in a fast-paced environment impacting people, process and technology.You have the ability to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building.You have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.You have extensive experience around technology innovation, digital strategy, and emerging technologies.You have the ability to look at the big picture and visualize a mid and long-term Omni-Channel strategy to support the business.You have the ability to lead, coach and motivate team.You possess technical knowledge in Omni-Channel Technologies.You have strong experience in working with and developing solid connections with C-level and senior business stakeholders.You have proven experience in leading a business partnering IT team and increasing the overall acceptance and adoption of agile methodologies and practices.Benefits
