We are looking for an experienced as Project Manager (Governance and Operations) as 2-year contract employment.
Responsibilities :
Core Project Management & Governance
- Lead end-to-end project management of various initiatives, including meticulous tracking of timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Coordinate and manage key meetings and workgroups, ensuring clear agenda, follow-ups, and action tracking
- Serve as key secretariat for different meeting cadences, coordinating requirements and following up with stakeholders to ensure completion
- Drive and track resolution of various issues, maintaining clear documentation and status updates
- Assist in regular governance status review covering security compliance and project audit
- Support in events like Auditor-General's Office (AGO) audits
Financial Management & Procurement
Manage funding and budget planning for GCC ProgrammeLead procurement of ICT products and services, ensuring delivery within timeline and budgetAdminister project funding and grants, including monitoring and reviewingReview proposals from suppliers / contractorsReview, clarify and negotiate business terms with suppliersMonitor and track project expensesOperational Excellence
Manage vendor services and contracts to meet business requirementsDrive innovation on work processesEnsure proper documentation of projects and related issuesAsset tracking and management (e.g. software licences, hardware and cloud subscriptions)Sustainability management (e.g. carbon emission and power requirement modelling)Risk & Compliance
Understand and advise on government procurement policies while meeting project needsIdentify potential procurement risks, implications, and propose mitigating measuresAny other duties that may be assignedRequirements
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong project management experience with proven track record in monitoring and trackingExcellent stakeholder management skills with ability to manage expectations effectivelyStrong organisational and meticulous attention to detailAdvanced proficiency in MS Excel (e.g. Charts, Pivot table and Vlookup) for tracking cases / issuesStrong verbal and written communication skills in EnglishAbility to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environmentDesirable Knowledge & Attributes
