1. Full Set of Accounts Management :
- Responsible to manage and maintain the full set of accounts.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Handle all aspects of accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Handling and developing improvement processes in overall General Ledger account including managing subledger of AR, AP, and Inventory account, Intercompany transaction, account revaluation and depreciation.
- Update the receipt entries in the accounting system on daily basis
- Handle subcontractor payment claims, retention sums, and final accounts
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
- Prepare monthly financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and project profitability analysis
- Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and site teams for accurate cost tracking and billing
- Manage and lead the accounting team , including mentoring junior staff
2. General Ledger Maintenance :
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.Prepare and post journal entries as required.3. Financial Reporting and Analysis :
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions.Prepare ad-hoc financial reports as needed.Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsAnalyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost control or revenue improvementProvide detailed project-wise profitability reports and variance analysis against budgetsDevelop and maintain cash flow forecasts, budgeting, and financial projectionsSupport management with actionable financial insights for strategic decision-makingEnsure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies4. Compliance and Audit :
Ensure compliance with local tax, GST regulations and filing requirements.Ensure quarterly GST submission is accurate and submitted on timely basisAssist with internal and external audits.Maintain accurate and organized financial records.5. Human Resources Functions :
Support monthly payroll and incentive calculations.Process staff claims and reimbursements.Maintain and organise personnel records and filing.Oversee or support payroll processing , ensuring accuracy in salary payments, overtime, leave, CPF, and other statutory contributionsMaintain and update employee records , contracts, and HR databases in compliance with MOM regulationsAssist with recruitment and onboarding of new staff, including preparation of offer letters and orientationMonitor and track staff attendance, leave, and medical recordsCoordinate performance reviews , evaluations, and annual increment or bonus recommendationsEnsure compliance with employment laws , workplace safety, and HR best practicesHandle employee relations matters , including disciplinary actions, grievances, and workplace issuesSupport the Director in planning manpower needs, headcount reporting , and HR budgetingLiaise with government bodies on matters such as work permits , levy, and foreign worker documentation (if applicable)JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy / Finance strongly preferred.Minimum 3 years of full set accounting experience.Meticulous and organized.Proactive and independentPossess excellent communication and interpersonal skillsCPA / ACCA / CA or equivalent is a plus pointStrong technical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, having good oral and written communication skills and be analytical, independent, and proactiveProficient in using accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooksMinimum [1-3] years of hands-on experience with Xero and / or QuickBooks Online / DesktopAble to manage day-to-day bookkeeping, invoicing, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting using Xero / QuickBooksManage and lead the accounting team , ensuring accurate and timely reporting of all financial mattersOversee daily financial operations and provide regular updates and financial reports to the DirectorEnsure smooth coordination within the finance team and alignment with management's strategic goalsBenefits :
