Underwriting Assistant

Job Description

• Assist to expand Business Package business via broker channel.
• Assist Underwriters to manage underwriting processes and procedures inpliance with the Business Package Underwriting Guidelines and Risk Appetite.
• Support the Business Package underwriting team in system referrals and renewal invitation reviews.
• Attend to queries and liaise with internal and external stakeholders (including Brokers, Operations, and other functional teams) to ensure smooth underwriting processes.
• Assist in preparing presentation and training materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide support in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and other project-related tasks on an ad hoc basis.

Job Requirements

• Strongmunication and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Prior experience in insurance underwriting support, broking, or operations will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
