Roles & Responsibilities

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Management Officer to lead onsite project teams and drive collaboration with remote development / delivery teams to ensure successful large-scale software project execution. This role demands expertise in customer-facing project management, cross-functional coordination, and a proven track record in banking or telecom sectors. The position offers a clear career path to regional and global leadership roles within APAC.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead onsite project teams to deliver complex software projects on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Collaborate with remote development teams, agile project managers, solution architects, and product teams to align deliverables with client expectations.
  • Manage client relationships, acting as the primary liaison for stakeholders in banking / telecom industries.
  • Coordinate with the customer’s SI (System Integrator) team to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
  • Monitor project risks, dependencies, and milestones, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Drive Agile methodologies while ensuring alignment with traditional project management frameworks (e.g., PRINCE2).
  • Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership and clients, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Key Requirements : Capabilities :

  • Proven experience in large software project delivery and customer-facing project management .
  • Strong ability to collaborate with internal Agile PMs, solution architects, product teams, and implementation teams.
  • Expertise in managing multi-stakeholder environments, including cloud partners, solution partners and external SI partners.

    • Experience :

  • Minimum 8–10 years in project management, with 3+ years in banking or telecom sectors .
  • Experience working with APAC clients; regional familiarity preferred.

    • Certifications :

  • PRINCE2 Practitioner or Program Management Certification (PgMP) .
  • Agile certification (e.g., SAFe, Scrum Master) is mandatory.
