Job descriptionResponsible for steel structures, civil and architectural scopes for building construction work. Plan, schedule work sequences, prepare Microsoft Project for all task and micro-schedule form throughout the project. Develop and lead a team of internal project engineers, and supervisor to successfully deliver projects. Develop and lead the onsite team and ensure project completion within the set budget, schedule and conformance with contract and specification. Advise and establish clear project programmes and milestones to monitor and report project progress. Develop a logistics plan that allows the contractors to complete their work in a coordinated, efficient manner. Monitor contractor / vendor pending costs. Advise internal and external team members for engineering, technical, project matters. Obtain client's acceptance of the work, and sign-off for the completed project. Responsible for the preparation and submission of the final project report, and prompt closeout of the subcontracts. Participate in developing project tender strategy with the project team and purchasing department. Prepare scopes of work for each trade, in construction with purchasing. Review and provide schedule information for tender documents and participate in contract negotiations.
Job Requirements :
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Civil / Structural or equivalent.
- Min 5-7 years of relevant working experience as a Project Manager / Construction Manager
- Managed projects from commencement to completion stage
- Possess managerial experience and supervisory skills
- Good communication skill and able to interact with all level of staff
- Able to work independently and also in a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Project
