Role Overview

Position : PRINCIPAL / SENIOR / EXECUTIVE CYBERSECURITY ENGINEER, CYBERSECURITY MONITORING & INCIDENT RESPONSE

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze security alerts from various tools and threat intelligence sources.
  • Lead incident response activities including containment, eradication, and recovery.
  • Develop and maintain incident response procedures and playbooks.
  • Ensure effective detection and response to cybersecurity threats through monitoring operations.
  • Coordinate response and investigation efforts during cybersecurity incidents.
  • Design and implement cybersecurity projects to enhance system security, collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Gather and analyze cyber threat information from multiple sources to produce relevant intelligence.
  • Review and improve cybersecurity incident response SOPs and playbooks regularly.
  • Provide management updates and recommendations to improve cybersecurity monitoring and detection.
  • Possess experience or knowledge in forensic investigations of security incidents.

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Requisite skills and experience may qualify candidates for senior roles.
  • Knowledge in cybersecurity risks, controls, vulnerability assessment, digital forensics, compliance, and industry best practices preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, GICSP, GCIH are advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience in threat monitoring, threat hunting, incident handling, or investigation is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple parties.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
