Lead all controllership activities for the APAC region, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with international (e.g., IFRS) and local standards.
Oversee the preparation, consolidation, and review of financial statements, statutory reporting, and external audits across multiple jurisdictions.
Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insights, performance analysis, and strategic guidance to support business objectives.
Strengthen internal control frameworks and ensure adherence to risk management and operational efficiency standards.
Drive the standardization and improvement of regional finance processes, workflows, and systems.
Act as the principal liaison for external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities across the region.
Manage day-to-day finance operations with a hands-on approach, demonstrating strong ownership and proactive problem-solving capabilities.
What It Takes
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are highly preferred.
At least 8 years of relevant experience, with a proven record of success in multinational corporations.
Industry experience in logistics, supply chain, or related sectors is strongly desirable.
In-depth understanding of regional accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
Strong independent working style, with meticulous attention to detail and accountability.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust and influence across all levels.
Proficiency in financial systems, ERP platforms, and advanced Excel capabilities.
