ABOUT THE JOB

As a Senior Process Engineer , you will play a critical role in supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations and driving continuous improvement in a regulated biopharmaceutical environment. You will :

  • Act as the technical owner for upstream and downstream equipment and other unit operations.
  • Lead the Quality Event (Deviation) process from initiation to timely closure.
  • Lead and manage Change Control processes for modifications to equipment or facilities.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues following maintenance’s preliminary diagnostics.
  • Provide floor-level technical support for manufacturing operations.
  • Appropriately escalate unresolved issues to Lead / Manager.
  • Manage CAPA-related projects , ensuring proper root cause analysis and effective implementation.
  • Support cross-functional team meetings , investigations, and engineering studies.

ABOUT YOU

  • Academic Background : Degree or Diploma in Chemical, Bioprocess, Process, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience :
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Process Engineer in a pharma / biopharma manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience managing Change Control processes and supporting cGMP operations .
  • Strong understanding of upstream / downstream processing in biological manufacturing.
  • Mastery of technical drawings : PFDs , P&IDs , general arrangements, and equipment design.
  • Familiarity with cGMP , Quality by Design (QbD) , and EHS standards.
  • Working knowledge of automation and monitoring systems (e.g., DCS , PLC , OSI PI , electronic batch records ) is a plus.
  • Solid project management skills related to technical implementation and documentation.
  • Ability to synthesize and resolve complex technical issues with a hands-on, pragmatic approach.
