ABOUT THE JOB
As a Senior Process Engineer , you will play a critical role in supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations and driving continuous improvement in a regulated biopharmaceutical environment. You will :
- Act as the technical owner for upstream and downstream equipment and other unit operations.
- Lead the Quality Event (Deviation) process from initiation to timely closure.
- Lead and manage Change Control processes for modifications to equipment or facilities.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues following maintenance’s preliminary diagnostics.
- Provide floor-level technical support for manufacturing operations.
- Appropriately escalate unresolved issues to Lead / Manager.
- Manage CAPA-related projects , ensuring proper root cause analysis and effective implementation.
- Support cross-functional team meetings , investigations, and engineering studies.
ABOUT YOU
Academic Background : Degree or Diploma in Chemical, Bioprocess, Process, or Mechanical Engineering.Experience :At least 3 years of experience as a Process Engineer in a pharma / biopharma manufacturing environment.Proven experience managing Change Control processes and supporting cGMP operations .Strong understanding of upstream / downstream processing in biological manufacturing.Mastery of technical drawings : PFDs , P&IDs , general arrangements, and equipment design.Familiarity with cGMP , Quality by Design (QbD) , and EHS standards.Working knowledge of automation and monitoring systems (e.g., DCS , PLC , OSI PI , electronic batch records ) is a plus.Solid project management skills related to technical implementation and documentation.Ability to synthesize and resolve complex technical issues with a hands-on, pragmatic approach.WHY AMARIS?
