The Company

Our client is an established provider of leasing and asset-based financing solutions. Keen to hire a hands-on and detailed Financial Controller to oversee the full spectrum of Finance Operations and Reporting.

Budget

S$13,000 – S$15,000 per month + Bonus

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant , Degree in Accountancy
• Stable career history, strong Operational Finance background – able to manage the full spectrum of Finance & Accounting portfolio including financial statement preparation, reporting, treasury, banking, audit and tax
• Required : Clear communication skills, must be hands-on (very lean team), able to work well in an international environment
• A bonus to come from industries relating to leasing or financing solutions
• Short notice / 1 or 2 months’ notice period

Job Scope

As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible in overseeing all financial and accounting activities with a large focus on Singapore. Responsibilities include finance operations (AP, AR, GL), month end processes, regulatory reporting, financial statement preparation, treasury, cash flow management, funding, banking, reconciliations, management reporting, analysis, tax and audit. You will monitor and optimize funding processes, provide insights to business performance, and support in budgeting and forecasting processes. You will ensure compliance with statutory standards and company policies, review internal controls to ensure sound policies are in place, as well as making sure all filing requirements are completed in an accurate and timely manner. You will also be a finance subject matter expert in providing accounting advice and guidance to senior management. You will proactively drive process improvement, streamlining and support system initiatives.
