Job description

About Engineering Good

Engineering Good (EG) is a non-profit organisation based in Singapore, founded in 2014. Through social innovation initiatives, we endeavour to support disadvantaged and special needs communities. Our work focuses on two main areas : Digital Inclusion and Assistive Technology.

Digital Inclusion

We refurbish used laptops, and redistribute them to underserved communities such as low-income families. This not only provides essential access for disadvantaged individuals and families to the digital world but also promotes environmental friendliness by reducing e-waste.

Assistive Technology (AT)

In our Assistive Technology programs, we leverage the diverse talents of our skilled volunteer community to create assistive technology products. These products help persons with disabilities (PWDs) overcome barriers to daily living activities, education, recreation, and employment, enabling them to reach their full potential and live more independently.

Our Impact

  • 10,000+ laptops refurbished and distributed
  • 28,000+ kg of e-waste diverted from landfills
  • 2,000+ assistive tech devices created
  • over 400 social service agencies served

Our work has enabled low-income students to attend online classes, disadvantaged persons to seek job opportunities online, assisted PWDs in daily living activities, and much more.

If you are also passionate about making a difference and want to be part of this supportive and innovative community, we invite you to join us in empowering those who need it most.

Job Purpose
