Your new company My client is a global leader in the reinsurance industry. They are seeking an HR and Admin Assistant Manager to join their growing HR team.
Your new role
Human Resources
Oversee andDeliver the operational payroll process through outsourced payroll vendors, ensuring accurate and timely payroll Processing, month-end closing reconciliations, and compliance with local Statutory requirements.
Maintain oversight Of outsourced payroll services, conducting regular due diligence checks and Verifying the accuracy of payroll entries.
Handle employees’ and directors’ tax filings and due clearance, including IR8A & IR21.
- Ensure timely submission of regulated labour surveys by the Ministries
- Set up new hires in Dayforce, Chrome River system and update monthly organisation chart
- Track and generate a monthly list of employees due for probation review. Initiate review with the Line Manager and follow up in due course to complete and issue a confirmation letter
- Manage a training portfolio which includes in-house training programs, LinkedIn Learning administration etc. Source for training providers and training programs to support the organisation’s training and development initiatives
- Lead employee engagement initiatives to drive a high-performance culture across the organisation
- Responsible for internal communications and recommending content of interest to be shared externally via platforms such as LinkedIn, Company website, etc. Support in activities to enhance employers' branding
- Act as the HRIS administrator. Assist in 1st level of employee support and maintain employees’ database, leave records through efficient management of HRIS
- Maintain employees’ database and maintenance of personnel files
- Responsible for full recruitment portfolio, including and not limited to sourcing, talent pipeline, pre-screening of resumes, coordinating with agencies, preparation of employment agreements etc. To track recruitment costs and keep it within budget
- Manage onboarding and offboarding of employees and ensure that compliance fit and proper screenings are completed and necessary documentation is issued
- Manage work pass administration for foreign employees
- Business partnering with functional leaders on employee movement and talent management
- Attend to employees’ queries on various HR matters and prepare related documentation
Administration
Co-ordinate office facilities and equipment maintenance and repairs.Liaise between building management and company.Maintain an access card system.Act as Deputy in the off-site document storage project.Assist in the preparation of office administration expense reports and vendor reviews.Manage the successful execution of town hall, executive management engagements, employee events activities etcProvides administrative and logistics support for Board Meetings, Management Meetings, company events and office operations.Maintenance of accurate, comprehensive, and accessible manual and electronic filing systems for all records and correspondence as requiredSupport the travel arrangements for the CEO, origination lead and relevant EMT members.What you will need to succeed
Diploma / Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or equivalentAt least 5–7 years of working experience in HR functions (must be familiar with payroll)Well versed in local employment law and its processesHands-on in doing HR operations workHighly motivated and takes initiative to take up new challengesExperience in HRIS is an added advantage.
