Job description
  • Primarily responsibility Business Development to open new logos & new relationships for the organization in Retail & CPG / FMCG vertical.
  • To be able to formulate a GTM strategy, with clear priorities, approach and execute the same.
  • Be the first point of contact for the customer & maintain & cultivate relationship.
  • Able to forge CXO relationships by understanding their strategic priorities, focus areas or pain points | mapping and interacting with client organization at all levels to identify areas of serving them.
  • Be voice of the customer in internal forums, to get the best value proposition for the customer / prospect’s opportunity.
  • Be able to articulate the value proposition for the customer in favor of TCS being their partner.
  • Manage prospects / customer relationship with CXOs levels to be able to understand their strategic priorities, roadmaps, pain areas and identify opportunities to service them.
  • Bring market intelligence to be able to position right.
  • Outcomes :

    • Contract signings - TCV, Revenue booking
    • New ongoing relationship & engagements
    • Working with :

      Collaborate with local as well as remote teams from Vertical (Industry), Country, Alliance, Product, Horizontal to name a few to achieve desired objectives.

      Requirements :

    • Business Development experience or Relationship manager experience for Retail & CPG organizations with IT Service Provider organizations (IBM, Accenture, Capgemini etc.) or Retail product firms
    • Domain Consulting background / experience
    • Enterprise tech transformation experience with major Retail & CPG organizations
    • A solution consulting led approach to unearth opportunities to add value, resolve customer pain points
    • Experience working with MNC organization with a global team set up.
    • Proven experience in successfully managing client’s expectation.

    • Good written & verbal communication skills, Presentation skills,
    • Energetic, enthusiastic, team player
    • Customer obsessed, to be able to empathize & actually make a difference (to make things better, to transform or solve pain areas)
