The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the sales team to achieve revenue targets, driving business growth, and expanding market share across Singapore's healthcare landscape. This role requires a strategic leader with exceptional sales acumen, business development expertise, and the ability to coach and motivate a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities as follows :
Sales Performance & Business Growth
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market expansion.
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities with group practices, polyclinics, and private healthcare providers.
Drive key account management and strengthen relationships with major external stakeholders.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and environmental changes to adjust sales strategies as needed.
Business Development & Market Expansion
Lead initiatives to penetrate new accounts, accelerate market share growth, and expand the company's presence in targeted channels.
Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with promoted brands' positioning.
Develop partnerships with key group practices, PCN networks, and public / private healthcare institutions.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
Coach, mentor, and develop the sales team to enhance performance and professional growth.
Conduct regular training sessions on product knowledge, sales techniques, and compliance.
Foster a high-performance culture by setting clear expectations, providing feedback, and recognizing achievements.
Boost team motivation through engagement initiatives and stretch programs for high-potential talents.
Performance Tracking & KPI Management
Analyze monthly sales performance against targets and implement corrective actions when needed.
Gather market insights to identify opportunities through customer engagement activities.
Utilize sales analytics tools to track progress, forecast sales, and optimize strategies.
Prepare and present sales strategies and performance reports to senior management with actionable insights when required.
Compliance & Ethical Standards
Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Uphold ethical promotion of products in line with Singapore's healthcare guidelines.
Basic Qualifications
We are seeking professionals with the following qualifications and skills to excel in this role :
Bachelor's degree or advanced diploma in Business, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical sales leadership experience.
Proven track record of driving sales growth across all channels in Singapore.
Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Data-driven mindset with expertise in sales analytics and performance KPI tracking.
Leadership capability with a focus on team development and motivation.
