Company Overview

A well-established and reputable company listed on the Singapore Exchange is looking for a Chief Financial Officer. The candidate must be passionate about developing oneself professionally and must be familiar with the SGX Listing Rules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions, including financial and management reporting, treasury, compliance, taxation, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Work closely with the Chairman and CEO, providing reporting and advisory support on the Group’s financial performance.
  • Manage audit, tax, and corporate secretarial matters across all Group companies.
  • Ensure timely compliance with statutory, SGX, accounting, tax reporting, and disclosure requirements.
  • Oversee the treasury function, including cash flow management, treasury operations, and investment activities.
  • Provide tax planning advice and lead all tax-related matters for the Group.
  • Advise on financial system enhancements and recommend improvements.
  • Review internal controls and suggest process enhancements to strengthen governance.
  • Collaborate with senior management on corporate transactions, such as acquisitions and divestments.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals.
  • Undertake ad-hoc duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or other professional accounting qualifications.
  • Professional certification such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in a broad range of finance and accounting activities within a large organization with overseas subsidiaries.
  • Proven track record in senior finance leadership roles, such as Financial Controller or Finance Director.
  • Experience with SGX-listed companies is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive strategic initiatives.
  • High energy, resilience, and a strong drive for success, pushing self and others to deliver exceptional results.
  • Positive attitude with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
