Our client is an innovative food tech company in China, focused on developing sustainable, technology-driven food solutions from alternative proteins to smart manufacturing. With continued investment in R&D and commercial scale-up, they are seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead strategic hiring and build high-performance teams across corporate, R&D, and production functions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Own and execute end-to-end recruitment for R&D, production, commercial, and corporate functions
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies, leveraging digital platforms, talent communities, and direct outreach
  • Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand workforce planning and talent needs
  • Manage candidate pipelines, interviews, offer processes, and onboarding in partnership with HR Ops
  • Champion employer branding and promote the company as a top food tech employer
  • Track and analyze recruitment KPIs to optimize time-to-hire and quality-of-hire
  • Stay up-to-date on hiring trends and talent market dynamics in China's tech and biotech sectors
  • Support campus recruiting, internship programs, and talent development initiatives
  • Collaborate with external partners including agencies, job boards, and universities
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 6 years of talent acquisition experience, ideally within food tech, biotech, FMCG, or tech-driven manufacturing sectors
  • Proven success in sourcing and hiring across both technical (e.g., food scientists, engineers) and business roles
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment analytics
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, growth-stage company environment
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English
