Job Summary :

The Warehouse Manager oversees all warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, logistics, and team supervision. This role ensures efficient workflow, maintains safety standards, and optimizes warehouse performance to meet business goals.

Key Responsibilities :

Operations Management :

Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
Develop and implement efficient warehouse procedures to improve productivity.
Monitor inventory accuracy and conduct regular audits to prevent discrepancies.
Ensure timely order fulfillment and resolve any shipping / receiving issues.

Team Leadership :

Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff (assistants, forklift operators, clerks).

Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and monitor employee performance.

Foster a safe, positive, and productive work environment.

Inventory & Logistics :

Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to manage stock levels.

Optimize warehouse layout for space utilization and workflow efficiency.

Oversee returns processing and damaged goods handling.

Safety & Compliance :

Enforce OSHA and company safety policies to prevent workplace injuries.

Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).

Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Reporting & Technology :

Track KPIs (order accuracy, fulfillment speed, inventory turnover).

Use WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and ERP software for reporting.

Prepare reports on warehouse performance for senior management.
