Your new role Here is a summary of the role you are applying for;They are seeking a highly skilled Senior / Engineer, Product Safety to join their dynamic product development team, specializing in high-precision semiconductor equipment.
In this role, you will ensure that our products comply with international safety standards by conducting pre-audit design reviews, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and coordinating with third-party auditors to obtain necessary compliance certifications.
Your expertise will be critical in mitigating risks and ensuring the safety and reliability of our cutting-edge semiconductor equipment.
- Below are some of the key responsibilities for the role;
- Optimize and characterize semiconductor assembly processes through structured experiments and test planning.
- Lead cross-functional teams to enhance product performance, improve yield, and ensure product robustness.
- Develop and implement new materials, technologies, and automation solutions for process advancements.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes to meet stringent customer requirements and establish standardized equipment operating procedures.
- Set up, calibrate, and fine-tune optical components and systems for proof-of-concept testing.
- Conduct statistical data analysis, modeling, and Design of Experiments (DOE) to drive process improvements.
- What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate, should have;
Education :
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a related field. Experience :3+ years of experience in product safety engineering, preferably in semiconductor equipment, industrial machinery, or high-tech manufacturing.Proven track record of achieving compliance certifications (, CE, UL, IEC 60204, SEMI S2 / S8).Familiarity with safety standards such as CE, IEC 60204, NFPA 79Technical Skills :
Strong understanding of electrical / mechanical safety principles and hazard mitigation.Experience with risk assessment methodologies (, FMEA, HAZOP).Proficiency in CAD / PLM tools (, SolidEdge) for design review is a plus.Soft Skills :
