Main Objectives of this position
Product Manager of either Reefer, Special Cargo or Dangerous GoodsTrade / Relational responsibility to drive Niche performance in alignment with Trade expectationsArea responsibility in terms of performance management in line with BU / FC expectationsBudget ownership (Target setting / Area guidance / Regional review) on Product Segment of careFunction and Duties
Grow the Niche Product segment with a focus on Region Asia exports in line with defined volume targetCreate efficient, effective tools and processes enabling quick reaction to changing market dynamicsDrive and steer Area performance (based on Product Segment responsibility, Trade responsibility and Area responsibility) by exceeding key performance indicators deliverablesWorking closely with other departments to align on business optimization, allocation managementInitiate and conduct market studies to identify Niche volume potential, growth opportunitiesReview contribution, cargo mix in line with business / revenue optimizationReview escalations and obstacles encountered to ensure business retentionPricing responsibilities of In-Gauge, Out-of-Gauge ShipmentsEnsuring forecast accuracies, in tandem with adequate supply of equipment availabilityAdvise and guide the organization of market trends, driving performance and key area of focusMeet customers to gain market insights, supporting Sales organization in business developmentCampaign Management to follow up on Sales Leads, Customer PipelineRoll out / conduct relevant Sales Trainings (Niche) when requiredQualifications and Technical Job Requirements
University degree and 5 years of relevant experience in the maritime industry or equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong stakeholder management with advanced negotiation, decision-making, presentation skillsDemonstrated ability in terms of verbal / written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to multi-task, set priorities, organize and implement action itemsSelf-starter, self-motivated, resourceful, responsive and analyticalWorks well under tight deadlinesMicrosoft Office proficiency (Excel, PPT)Yield Management / Trade Management experience would be an advantageCommercial exposure with either Reefer, Special Cargo or Dangerous Goods would be an advantageContact person
