The Production Warehouse Manager oversees the production processes, storage and distribution of food items, ensuring efficient and safe operations within the warehouse which involves managing inventory, coordinating logistics, maintaining compliance with food safety regulations, supervise warehouse staff, maintain equipment, and ensuring the warehouse environment is clean and organized.
Job Responsibilities :
- Responsible for managing full process from start to finish the production, storage and distribution activities for assortment of products through effective use of manpower, material, machine, method and ensuring a safe working environment in the production floor.
- Overseeing day-to-day operations in production to ensure optimum productivity and efficiency with optimal product quality.
- Lead the operations and production team to ensure production targets, product quality and specifications are reached within their area of supervision.
- Ensuring food safety compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Plan the overall production, track inventory levels to ensure healthy stock-level for business operations and production requirements.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the cold room, including receiving, storage and delivery
- Implement effective FIFO systems and manage expiry dates to minimize waste.
- Manage the overall production flow to ensure daily productivity outputs are met in a timely manner.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production output and performance report to the Management.
- Ensure proper and comprehensive preventive maintenance program is implemented and executed timely for all machines.
- Optimising delivery routes, assigning vehicles and drivers, and managing time windows to ensure efficient deliveries and minimize costs.
- Conduct regular stock audits, reconciliations, and cold storage management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food handling guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits and ensure readiness for yearly certifications.
- Implement and enforce proper handling and storage procedures to maintain product freshness and quality.
Job Requirements :
5 years of relevant working experience in F&B production.Familiarity with cold storage and food industry regulations (ISO, HACCP).Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficient in MS Office and inventory management systems.
