Role Overview
Lead and optimize the end-to-end prototyping supply chain by managing purchasing, logistics, quality control, and supplier performance for timely and cost-efficient project delivery. Drive operational excellence, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration in a global manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supply Chain Leadership : Plan, assign, and oversee SCM resources; lead and mentor a local SCM team in sourcing, logistics, and project buying.
- Prototyping & NPI : Ensure timely delivery of high-quality prototypes; support New Product Introductions through early supplier engagement and fast-lane material procurement.
- Supplier Management : Develop and maintain a solid global supplier base; monitor performance, negotiate contracts, and manage sourcing risks.
- ERP & Process Excellence : Maintain accurate data in SAP and global systems; implement and improve SCM procedures for efficiency and compliance.
- Logistics & IQC : Coordinate warehouse, goods receiving, and quality control; ensure inventory accuracy, safety standards, and proper documentation.
- Performance Management : Define KPIs, establish reporting systems, control costs, and ensure continuous improvement (CIP / CSR initiatives).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with R&D, Product Groups, Finance, and Strategic Buying teams globally to support project and operational goals.
Requirements
Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related technical / commercial fields.Experience : 5-10 years in sourcing / procurement leadership roles within manufacturing, preferably with global exposure.Skills :Good knowledge of supply chain and purchasing processes
ERP (SAP) and MS Office proficiency
Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical ability
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Willingness to travel.
