Job description

Responsibilities :

  • Design, implement, and manage complex systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and conduct root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, servers, and applications.
  • Perform regular system monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Document system designs, configurations, and operational guidelines for reference.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend system enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a System Engineer or related role.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, or UNIX) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, RHCE) are a plus.
