Job Summary
The Operation Director plays a strategic and executional role in driving MEC’s business growth, digital presence, and cross-border partnerships. This position oversees business development, digital platform maintenance, sales conversion pipelines, and multi-party collaborations, ensuring operational excellence and service innovation across all MEC offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Develop and implement strategic plans to grow MEC’s service offerings across markets.
- Drive lead generation, manage CRM pipelines, and ensure high conversion through end-to-end sales service.
- Identify and develop new service lines in response to market needs and industry trends.
Digital Channels & Marketing Operations
Oversee creation, optimization, and maintenance of online platforms including MEC’s website, Atome integration, and other digital services.Manage and grow MEC’s presence across social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).Collaborate with marketing teams / agencies to execute SEO / SEM campaigns and outreach strategies.Vendor & Partnership Management
Negotiate and maintain relationships with schools, agents, service providers, and strategic partners in Singapore and internationally (e.g., Japan, Thailand, Malaysia).Establish and nurture partnerships to expand MEC’s reach and service capabilities.Operations & Public Relations Management
Ensure operational workflows are smooth, scalable, and client-centric.Manage public relations activities, represent MEC in stakeholder discussions and regional events.Handle risk management, compliance, and process documentation in line with Singapore regulatory standards.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.5+ years of experience in operations, business development, digital marketing, or eCommerce, ideally in the education, migration, or consultancy industry.Strong understanding of digital platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Make, Ai tools, social media tools, payment gateways).Proven experience in partner / vendor management and contract negotiation.Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.Proficiency in Burmese in reading & writing is mandatoryProficiency in English or Japanese is a plus.Preferred Traits
