Job Summary

Associate, Investor Relations

One of Asia’s most established Healthcare investment firms with an AUM in excess of USD 8bn is looking to hire an Associate in their Investor Relations team. Reporting into the Head of Client Services, the role will be based in Singapore but the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with colleagues in the other offices globally.

The Associate will be a core member of the Investor Relations team to support the Group's fundraising activities across all its strategies including but not limited to private equity and private credit and play a pivotal role in partnering directly with prospective investors, CRMs and other stakeholders to manage all due diligence and investment monitoring and reporting processes for the Group's investors. The primary role is to work with the operations team to support client services and implementation of fundraising campaign strategies, which includes creation of diligence materials prior to fund launch, project managing all diligence deliverables during fundraising (RFPs, DDQs, etc.), coordinating client calls, meetings for investor due diligence processes to fielding investor queries, investing monitoring, research, investment reporting, management of dataroom and CRM, as well as investor meeting and event planning support.

Job Responsibilities -

  • Developing and managing required due diligence deliverables necessary to advance clients during fundraising, including DDQs, RFPs, RFIs, quantitative datasets, IDD / ODD presentations, etc.
  • Support fundraising process e.g. prepare presentations, investor updates, roadshows, managing other client-facing materials marketing collateral like pitchbook presentations, standard DDQs, case studies, etc.
  • Collaborate with other teams to conduct due diligence on investors and onboarding
  • Work as a team to develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors and family offices etc
  • Liaise with investors to provide them fund performance updates and respond to any fund queries
  • Liaise with different departments to prepare marketing materials, investment memorandum, reports etc
  • Organize investor events and meetings
  • Other ad-hoc duties

Required Qualifications -

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably with a major in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in private equity, private credit, consulting firms, Big Four, Investment Banking, placement agent, or investment consultant preferred
  • Working knowledge of the alternative assets industry across a variety of asset classes is essential
  • Effectively billingual in English and Chinese
  • Strong communication skills (verbal / written) and presents well
  • Analytical, meticulous and numbers oriented
  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset with a keen and positive attitude
