About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Solution Architect to join our client in the Public Sector. This role is instrumental in designing secure, scalable, and mission-critical IT solutions for government clients, ensuring alignment with national digital initiatives and compliance with regulatory frameworks.

As a trusted advisor to both internal and external stakeholders, you will lead the architecture of complex systems that support smart nation services, citizen engagement platforms, digital governance, and critical infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver end-to-end enterprise and cloud-based solutions tailored to government agencies' requirements.
Translate business needs into robust, secure, and compliant technical architectures.
Lead pre-sales solutioning, including RFP / RFI responses, proposal development, and stakeholder presentations.
Ensure solutions comply with government architecture standards, cybersecurity policies, and data classification frameworks.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to guide implementation and maintain solution integrity throughout the lifecycle.
Develop blueprint designs, high-level architecture diagrams, security models, and transition strategies.
Collaborate with policy, compliance, and legal teams to address regulatory and operational risk concerns.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

At least 8 years of experience in solution architecture, with strong exposure to large-scale government or public sector projects.

Proven expertise in cloud architecture (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), preferably with GovTech or Smart Nation environments.

Knowledge of government procurement processes and experience working on government contracts or tenders.

Familiarity with government reference architectures, data governance frameworks, and security standards (e.g., IM8, ISO 27001).

Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies in secure environments.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting to senior government officials.

Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS / Azure / GCP Solution Architect, CISSP, or ITIL are advantageous.
