The Trading Manager Midpros, Asia will be responsible for leading ADM's strategic and commercial efforts in the midprotein segment across key Asian markets. This includes identifying growth opportunities, building strategic partnerships, managing product portfolios, and driving business development across the region.
Your Responsibilities
Market Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for midproteins in Asia aligned with global business objectives.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to refine business strategy.
- Define pricing, positioning, and value propositions specific to regional customer needs.
Driving Regional Midpro Trade
Manage the Midproteins portfolio and overseeing all PNL and Positions in the regionMaintaining S&Ds for the region with analysis to support global trading strategiesCollaborate with the regional trading teams to support customer development, negotiations, and contract management.Stakeholder Collaboration
Act as the key regional liaison between the Global Trade Europe Team and Asia Teams.Build strong relationships with origination teams and developing new suppliersRepresent ADM in regional industry forums and customer engagements.Your Profile
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA or equivalent a plus.Minimum 5-7 years of experience in commercial, category management, or product management roles in the commodities trading industry.Deep understanding of protein markets.Strong knowledge of Asian markets and business environments.Proven track record in driving regional growth strategies and commercial success.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.Ability to travel regionally as needed
