Enterprise Data Science and Management (EDSM) is seeking an experienced Lead Data Scientist to join our Data Science team. Individuals in this role are expected to be comfortable working as an AI / ML Ops engineer and a quantitative researcher. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in studying customer buying behavior and a passion for identifying and answering questions that help us understand and fulfill the latent needs of our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the EDSM team to identify and provide insights for key Customer Intelligence questions.
  • Solve commercial problems with AI to generate social and economic value.
  • Develop, validate, and deliver algorithms, statistical models, and analytical insights to meet business objectives.
  • Analyze and interpret marketing and operations campaign data and experiments, recommending improvements for future initiatives.
  • Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large-scale data analysis, model development, validation, deployment, and operations.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and connect strategy to execution concerning data infrastructure, AI operating models, and GenAI-enabled transformation.
  • Create a culture of excellence, leading with confidence, charisma, context, and humility across all levels.
  • Provide thought leadership and establish best practices for instrumentation and experimentation, sharing these across the Data Science and Analytics teams.

Requirements

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in a relevant technical field, or 4+ years of experience in a relevant role.
  • Exceptional expertise in AI engineering, machine learning, and data science.
  • Strong understanding of the AI services marketplace with the ability to develop go-to-market plans with marketing teams.
  • A passion for empirical research and solving complex questions with data.
  • Ability to communicate complex quantitative analyses clearly, precisely, and actionably.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Jupyter, LLMs, PyTorch, TensorFlow, AWS Sagemaker, Google Vertex AI, Azure ML, etc.
  • Proven track record of leading AI solution delivery from incubation to large-scale deployment.
