Job description
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance and professional development.
  • Take full ownership of the company's financial operations, overseeing all operations including AP / AR, fixed assets, and cash and liquidity management . Utilize your expertise in Working Capital and Cash Flow Management to optimize liquidity, while championing Process Improvement to enhance efficiency.
  • Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. A key part of this role includes partnering with sales leadership to develop and implement effective commission structures and providing insightful analysis to guide management decisions.
  • Lead the Month-End and Year-End Closing processes to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of comprehensive Financial Reports to management and for statutory compliance.
  • Ensure full compliance with local regulations, including the timely and accurate submission of GST returns, Corporate Tax, and ECI. Develop and maintain strong internal controls and financial policies.
  • Act as the key liaison for internal / external audits, and manage relationships with banks, tax authorities, and other key external partners.
  • Participate in and lead ad-hoc finance projects aimed at driving business growth and operational excellence.

    • Requirements

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance and a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA).
    • A minimum of 5 years of progressive finance experience, including a proven track record in a supervisory or managerial role. Experience in the F&B, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors is a significant advantage.
    • Strong command of Singapore's accounting and tax regulations (GST, Corporate Tax, ECI). Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel (including financial modelling) is required.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team, act as a strategic business partner, and manage senior stakeholders effectively.
    • A proactive and hands-on leader with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
