Job description

We are seeking an AI Investment Associate to join our venture investment arm at , a leading cryptocurrency exchange. The role focuses on identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities in artificial intelligence companies and technologies, while working within our dynamic crypto-native environment.

Responsibilities :

Source and evaluate AI investment opportunities across various sectors
Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments
Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to the investment committee
Monitor portfolio companies and support their growth initiativesBuild and maintain relationships with founders, investors, and AI industry experts

Required experience :

Venture capital or private equity experience focusing on AI investments

Demonstrated track record of successful deal execution in AI / ML sector

Experience in technical due diligence of AI companies

Technical Knowledge :

Strong understanding of AI / ML technologies, frameworks, and development

Ability to evaluate AI technical architectures and implementation strategies

Familiarity with current AI market trends and competitive landscape

Language & Location :

Native or professional fluency in English

Business-level proficiency in Mandarin Chinese

Based in Hong Kong or willing to relocate

Educational Background :

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Computer Science, AI, Engineering, or related field preferred

Desired Qualities :

Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
