Job Description Apex Chemicals (S) Pte Ltd is looking to hire an Account Manager for the company’s expansion into the Singapore market.
To be based preferably in Singapore, the ideal candidate should have solid work experiences in the Maritime industry, with relevant contacts of Ship Owners, Charterers, and Ship Managers etc. The new incumbent should possess demonstrated initiative to establish new leads as well as maintain quality contacts so as to develop new businesses and demands within Singapore.
Excellent communication skills, and strong negotiation and presentation abilities are highly valued, and the goal is to contribute to Apex Chemicals’ business sustainability and growth so as to achieve long-term success.
What you will be doing :
- Drive profitable sales growth by increasing customer loyalty.
- Build the sales pipeline to hit the targets as specified.
- Develop and handle the Key Account globally and ensure their subsidiaries are handled consistently.
- Sales meetings to secure a results-oriented sales approach and customer strategy implementation.
- Secure multilevel entry points by using own and other internal resources ensuring wide customer relationships to increase sales.
- Report on account performance, customer development and take corrective actions.
- Ensure customer deals generate the most optimal return by proactive contract management.
- Ensure all customers have approved credit limits in place and adhere to agreed payment terms and approved credit exposure limits.
- Implement company sales strategy, process, procedures, campaigns and initiatives.

You have a bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing, with a minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in sales and account management.The Account Manager will report to the Sales Director and Regional Managers.Preferably experience from working in the Maritime Industry.Proven track record when it comes to sales growth.Commercial mind-set.Ambitious and a strong desire for success.Proven communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
