Job descriptionBachelor's degree or above in Finance / Accounting of related fields. 2-8 years related experience. Ability to communicate in English and Chinese to liaise with Chinese speaking stakeholders. Proven work experience as an Accounting Supervisor. Experience with accounting software (e.g. SAP). Strong computer skills, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts) Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws and regulations. Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data. Attention to detail and accuracy. Team management skills. Accounting certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) is a plus.
Job description :
- Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable / receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
- Participate in regular tax audits and regular tax returns.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing. Periodically report F / S to HQ.
- Organize financial data into useable information and maintain updated records.
- Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives.
- Establish accounting policies and procedures, aligned with HQ's controlling procedures and targets.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore law (ex. Tax laws, commercial codes etc.).
